—Signed Print by George Breed—
George Breed photographed the “Sound of Flight” mural* on Flagstaff’s Orpheum Theater many times, but this image is special. The image we call “Piano Player” was taken on the fly, when he saw the moment happening during one of his daily walks. We chose it for the cover of his photo journal, Walking Flagstaff.
Soulstice Publishing is pleased to be making selected images from his book available to the public as signed prints. These are collector-worthy giclée prints produced by the experts at Muzeo in Scottsdale. Printed at 5.5 inches by 7 inches on 8×10 paper, each is signed by George Breed. Only a limited number are available.
Considered by many to be a Flagstaff treasure, George Breed spent 10 years observing this mountain town at a walking pace, exploring the town’s streets, paths, and back alleyways with camera in hand. His photos represent the quirky vision of an attentive artist who finds meaning and connection everywhere he looks.
*The mural was created by local artists Sky Black Mural Mice Universal artists R.E. Wall and Margaret Dewar, and we obtained their permission to use this image in the book.
