For many years, the running mecca of Flagstaff has sent more runners to Colorado’s Imogene Pass Run than any other town—including any town in Colorado. To Imogene, a Flagstaff Love Letter was the first book created by Soulstice Publishing. This book project was sparked by our inspiring running community and its unique relationship with that iconic trail race between Ouray and Telluride. To Imogene, a Flagstaff Love Letter is filled with personal stories, photos, and illustrations that intimately show what the Imogene race means to Flagstaff, and in turn what Flagstaff gives to the race.
Linda Sherman Prints
Along with the book, we asked runner and watercolor artist Linda Sherman to create two watercolors just for this project. Her gorgeous “Uphill” and “Downhill” capture Imogene’s spirit.
