Everyone is invited, whether you run or not. Books will be on sale–the perfect Christmas gift for the running reader (or reading runner) on your Christmas list.

Abdi’s World is not just a recounting of Abdi’s racing accomplishments, which includes being the only five-time American Olympic male distance runner and the American master’s record holder in the marathon. Abdi also shares his experience escaping civil war in Somalia with his family when he was a teenager, discovering his love of running very much by accident while at Pima Community College, and becoming an All-American at the University of Arizona under his long-time coach David Murray.

Above all, the book spreads Abdi’s infectious joy of life and running and a message of unity that will inspire runners and non-runners alike.

“Abdi has a ‘go-big’ approach to life and running, and now readers will get to experience his positive mindset firsthand.”

–Meb Keflezighi, 2009 New York City Marathon winner, 2014 Boston Marathon winner
